Laisva valia, entuziastingai ir aiškiai duotas leidimas dalyvauti lytiniame veiksme. Sutikimas turi būti nuolatinis (gali būti atšauktas bet kuriuo metu), informuotas (žinai, su kuo sutinki) ir specifinis (sutikimas vienam veiksmui nereiškia sutikimo kitam). Tyla, neveiklumas ar „ne“ nepasakymas nėra sutikimas.
