Česlovas Milošas (Czesław Miłosz)
Lietuvos lenkų kilmės poetas, rašytojas, Nobelio premijos laureatas. Po Antrojo pasaulinio karo dirbęs komunistinės Lenkijos diplomatinėje tarnyboje, 1951 m. jis pasiprašė politinio prieglobsčio Vakaruose. Savo garsiojoje esė knygoje „Pavergtas protas“ jis genialiai išanalizavo Rytų Europos intelektualų prisitaikymo prie totalitarizmo mechanizmus ir dvasinę kapituliaciją.
